How this works
Arena points come from a logistic curve on your rating, scaled per bracket. This tool inverts that curve: it searches for the lowest rating whose weekly payout meets your target. Since 2v2 pays the least per point of rating and 5v5 the most, the required rating is always highest for 2v2.
Frequently asked questions
What arena rating do I need for a given number of arena points?
It depends on the bracket. Because 5v5 pays 100% of base, 3v3 88% and 2v2 76%, you need a higher rating in 2v2 than in 5v5 to earn the same points. Enter your target above to see the required rating in every bracket side by side.
Why can’t I reach very high point totals?
The points curve flattens near its cap, so beyond a certain rating extra points come very slowly. If a target isn’t reachable even at 3000 rating, the calculator will tell you the most you can earn.
